Rise & Repair is a diverse alliance of people and organizations working to advance Climate Justice and Indigenous Rights during the 2024 legislative session in Minnesota.
Speakers who participated in the launch include Anishinaabe-Ojibwe Elder Great Grandmother Mary Lyons, former State Senator Patricia Torres Ray, Senator Mary Kunesh as well as organizers from Honor the Earth, The Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery, Climate Generation, CLEAR Energy Coalition, MN Environmental Justice Table and Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light.
The public launch of Rise & Repair provided snapshot of various legislative priorities which will be introduced during the 2024 session and to announce this year’s Lobby & Rally day for March 12th, 2024. As legislation moves through session, it is extremely important that we participate in the proceedings. Below are steps you can take to get involved:
