Join us for “A Weekend with Wild Rice” Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 12-13, 2026!
This is an invite-only gathering convened by the Rise & Repair Alliance for Minnesota lawmakers, midterm candidates and agency staff to learn about Wild Rice, experience a traditional harvest and engage in dialogue to protect our state grain.
Our hope with this gathering will be to have our current and prospective leaders experience cultural teachings and participate in a traditional harvest of Wild Rice, Minnesota’s State Grain known as Manoomin in the Anishinaabemowin language and Psin to our Dakota relatives.
